In certain sections I slowed the song by a factor of four, and had Rodney mime the lyrics during playback at that speed. Then I sped it back up in the edit to mimic the odd nature of ‘hyper-active’ space footage from the 1960’s and ’70’s. Turned out Rodney was so good at sitting perfectly still and maintaining his facial expression that some of the intended effect got lost!
